It seems like we are being pulled apart, with some of the issues we are facing, in the world, today.  Here, in the US, I know life is easier, than in many other places, around the world.  In China, less than $100 per annum, is the difference between poverty level, and low income level, while here, if we don’t earn $100 per day, we are, or seem to be poor.  But that’s another story, and I wanted to present other information in this post.

In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control, and from 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents were exterminated.

In 1911, Turkey established gun control, and from 1915 to 1917, about 1.5 million Armenians were exterminated.

In 1938 Germany established gun control, and from 1939 to 1945, 13 million Jews, and others were exterminated.

In 1935 China estasblished gun control, and from 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents were exterminated.

In 1964 Guatemala established gun control, and from 1964 to 1981, 100 thousand Mayan Indians were exterminated.

In 1970, Uganda established gun control, and from 1971 to 1979, 300 thousand Christians were extermainated.

In 1956, Cambodia established gun control, and from 1975 to 1977, 1 million people were exterminated.

If my figures are correct, in the 20th century, with the help of gun control, 56 million defenseless people were exterminated.  Gun control laws will only affect the law abiding citizens.  As long as we have guns, we will be citizens, but without guns, we are only subjects.  I want to give you a #FoodForThought to take ~ When the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor, they had everything they needed to invade America.  The main deterrant was that most Americans were armed.
